They have been a party to well over $1 Billion dollars of private Real Estate transactions in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Alabama, Georgia, and Virginia.

Daniel Hawes | President

A lifelong Arkansan and graduate of Shiloh Christian High School, Daniel earned his Arkansas Real Estate License in 2003 before pursuing a degree in Real Estate and Finance at the University of Arkansas. In 2013, he founded Landmark Real Estate & Investment—a boutique firm built around a simple mission: to help clients build wealth through strategic real estate investments.

Under Daniel’s leadership, Landmark has grown into a respected name across Northwest Arkansas, specializing in single-family, multi-family, and commercial investment properties. His approach blends industry expertise with a passion for relationship-driven service, ensuring every client partnership is built on trust, integrity, and long-term vision. Daniel and his wife, Chelsea, live in Elm Springs with their two children, Amelia and Henry. Rick Hawes | Principal Broker

With more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, Rick brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Landmark Real Estate & Investment as our Principal Broker. He specializes in working with investors to buy, sell, and lease a wide range of properties, from single-family homes to large-scale commercial assets.

Throughout his career, Rick has brokered hundreds of millions of dollars in transactions and earned a reputation as an innovative, “outside-the-box” thinker with a keen eye for market trends and opportunities. His insight and strategic approach have been instrumental in guiding clients and investors toward sustainable success.

Jim Gallagher | Sr Vice President

Originally from the Kansas City area, Jim Gallagher began his professional journey at just 17 years old with Wal-Mart as a part-time stocker in Lawrence, Kansas. That early opportunity evolved into an impressive 32-year career with Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club, spanning seven states and a two-year international assignment.

After retiring in 2013, Jim transitioned his leadership experience and business insight into a successful second career in real estate. His extensive background in operations, management, and customer service translates into a disciplined, client-focused approach that adds measurable value to every transaction.

Jim and his wife, Christi—who also works for Sam’s Club—have called Northwest Arkansas home for more than 20 years. Their son Tyler, daughter-in-law Michelle, and grandson Gus live in the Pacific Northwest. Aaron Hawes | Executive Broker

Following in his father’s and brother’s footsteps, Aaron Hawes built a career in real estate after an early chapter in the retail fuel industry. As Executive Broker at Landmark Real Estate & Investment, Aaron oversees client relations and outside sales while managing the day-to-day brokering responsibilities that keep transactions moving smoothly and efficiently.

Known for his client-focused commitment, Aaron takes pride in building lasting relationships and ensuring each client receives personalized guidance and attention.
